Review summary
What a memorable first cruise! The ship is a little older but everything was kept spic and span. There was hardly much wear to be seen. It is extremely sleek on the water and Captain (Demetrius) and his staff made it look too easy as they maneuvered away from the Hubbard Glacier though a sea of ice. Quite spectacular! I thought the short stay in Victoria was not necessary since we couldn't do much for the few hours that evening. The only thing I didn't like was the last night on board. It seemed like everybody was wrapping up...for instance all the stores were closed, the casino was closed. We were hoping to do something more for the last night. We tried the Constellation Club one night and the music didn't seem suitable for dancing, so we never went there again, which was unfortunate.Ports of call
Pros: Service, Food and Glaciers!
Cons: Kids didn't like the chlorinated and salty spa pool.
