Review summary

The ship was just lovely. It is certainly not the largest ship on the seas but it had many nice amenities. Our cabin was small but very weill designed for maximum use. We could hear a lot of noise from our neighbors, although that could have been due to the neighbors and not a fault of the ship. We were on level 4 (aft) and we could hear engine noises, especially in the morning during docking manouevers. Overall very nice.

My favorite carribean island. Prices have really increased here in the last few years so if you're expecting a $5 cab ride to the falls you're in for a shock.

Don't Miss: Snorkeling at Champagne, the bubbles are sooooo neat.

Oranjestad, Aruba

I'm not much of a shopper so this port didn't interest me much. The beach called Eagle was beautiful although the hotels along the beach charge a small fortune for chairs.

Don't Miss: the beautiful beaches

Castries, St. Lucia

We stayed in town due to an injury and didn't enjoy ourselves. We heard the island tours to the Piton were spectacular although the roads are frightening.

Take an island tour to see this BVI gem. The beach at Brewers Bay is home to dozens of pelicans.

Don't Miss: The Baths on Virgin Gorda

St. George's, Grenada

The island tours are a good deal. Grenada is still recovering from a devstating hurricaine so this island feels quite poor. We were a bit concerned about our personal safety in the port town.

Loved this island. Really enjoyed the beach bar with the cow/dinosaur on top. The botanical garden is over-run with iguanas which we really enjoyed.

Don't Miss: great diving and snorkelling

Bridgetown, Barbados

Go to the beach, swim with the turtles, drink the local Bank's beer.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

Colonial charmer! Really a nice place to visit and the locals are not nearly as pushy as is Dominica/Grenada.

Don't Miss: Turtle beach has wild monkeys and goats. Great for nature lovers.

Pros: The ship was extraordinarily clean and well maintained.

Cons: Sports equipment was not well maintained (especially the table-tennis raquets).
