We had taken a brief hiatus from Celebrity to try other cruise lines.  We are back to stay.  The Equinox was a great ship, well maintained, with a first class crew.  The entire staff were friendly and efficient, always wearing a smile for their guests.  We were delighted with the Luminae Restaurant and had a great experience in the specialty restaurant, Murano.  We were not thrilled with Silk Harvest or the Tuscan Grille.  They were OK, but we liked Luminae better.   We expected the staterooms to be "tired" since the ship has not been refurbished in a while, so we were pleasantly surprised at the condition.  The only think that could be improved is the wi-fi which was very slow and required log-in frequently.

We  began cruising just about 11 years ago with our fist cruise on Celebrity. As with most things in t he world today the level of service has certainly declined. All the crew members we had contact with were pleasant yet there was no one that seemed to have any desire to go that extra step. This is more disappointing than a negative feedback on our cruise.

The food is as always as expected. The entertainment was enjoyable, the ship is clean, our cabin was clean and as expected for the type of cabin we reserved. 

Celebrity Cruise Lines did a great job again as they they have always done. Great food, service, stateroom, friendly, and terrific entertainment. The stops and excursions were fun, well done, on time, and enjoyable. People watching was great. Everyone we met was friendly, interesting, and diverse. We had a great time and will do it again.

From the friendliness of the staff to the stellar entertainment, the incredible food and the exceptionally friendly bar staff, I couldn't have been happier with my experience on the Celebrity Equinox. The Applewood smoked infused rum at the world-class bar should not be missed. The quality of the singers and dancers was far better then you would expect on a cruise ship.  I've worked in the entertainment industry for over 25 years and the talented​ entertainers on that ship are Star Quality that simply haven't had a break to become famous yet. Finishing each night with a bourbon and a cigar and fresh grass at the lawn Club while watching the sunset on the horizon and floating in the middle of the ocean is like a dream.

I loved my recent 7-night Western Caribbean cruise on the Celebrity Equinox! From wonderful cabin service to excellent dining experiences and excursions, it was my best cruise yet!!! 

What a wonderful week of pampering and enjoying the beauty of our world.  Everything about the Equinox is a class act.  Great food, entertainment, service and ports of call.  We have cruised for over 30 years and continue to be amazed at the terrific fun shared at sea.  We would highly recommend this cruise and surely will return soon for a command performance.  Thanks to Celebrity Cruises for always doing it right. 

The staff members are all very polite and professional.  However, part of the carpets on board is old and dirty.  The bad smell has already permeated into the dirty carpet.  Whenever we walked by the area, we were reminded by the offensive smell.

We previously traveled on Celebrity and moved to Oceania because we felt they had lost their superior service ethic and were "nickeling and diming" us to death!  We decided to try them again and are we glad we did.  First and foremost, the addition of the Luminae Restaurant for Suites guests is wonderful.  This addition makes Suite guests experience a more intimate dining experience.  The food in Luminae is upscale and wonderful!  And, the addition of "good, better, best" providing a free drink package, prepaid gratuities, and free Wi-Fi helped up experience a great cruise without feeling like we were paying "extra" for everything.  The ship is wonderful and in very good shape considering it hasn't been updated in a few years, and, the staff is super!  We are back as Celebrity cruisers and even booked on the Edge while we were on board.

Overall we enjoyed the cruise. The main restaurant served good food and our table staff were great. Entertainment was better than we have experienced on recent cruises. We were disappointed with the dinner we had at the Tuscan Grill. Price was not commensurate with quality of food. At certain ports we decided to remain on board and were disappointed with the lack of indoor bars that were available while the ship was docked. Cabin staff were also very attentive.

The Shows   The only improvement is baggage pick up at the end of cruise at the pier. Someone pick up our one of our baggage move it to the next room close to the door. Took us awhile to find that last baggage. Nobody check to see if somebody might have the wrong baggage. or someone could steal someone baggage.

Equinox is still in good shape for its age in service.  I enjoy many of the art pieces throughout the ship.  The crew are very friendly.  Daily buffet and most foods are of good quality and provides a large selection.  Main dining room is good too but not as exciting as my expectation.

Bonaire is surprisingly beautiful.  Local government makes an effort to conserve its natural beauty and resources.  Aruba has some attractions too, Aruba seems more commercial.  You can see many of designer stores near the harbour.  It is similar to walking in an American shopping mall in a tropical setting.

The entertainment was excellent, loved the Islands, the service was very good

Everyone was very friendly the cabin was very nice and clean plenty of storage and the cabin stewart was awesome, the selection of the food was not great needs improvement, 

Dining in the specialty restaurants, especially Murano. Fabulous food and service. Nenad from Serbia was a great waiter, we had him twice in Murano.

Only issue was food in select dining was not up to Celebrity standards for dinner. Steak Diane tough. Gnocchi hard an flavorless.

Maitre D in Silhouette was fabulous!!

We took a Celebrity. Raise on the Equinox to Georgetown, Aruba, Curacao, and Bonaire. The ship was the cleanest ship we have ever been on. The food was excellent and staff and crew wonderful. The entertainment could have been better but overall a very enjoyable cruise

Favorite part of the cruise was the pampering we received from wonderful waiters and room attendant!  Guest Relations and Shore Excursion representatives we've encountered were not that gracious but we still give this particular cruise 5 stars due to overall experience.  Nightly shows are a plus though found one show kinda corny, sorry, but the rest were ok.  Rich, the entertainment director is fabulous! Celebrity Equinox is particularly a nice and well maintained ship.  Balcony cabin has always been my favorite and theirs is excellent.  Bathroom I'm comfortable with most compared to other cruise ships.  Lovely cruise experience! We've sailed on all 5 of the Solstice class ships. Equinox is one of the older ships that still has the glass blowing show and a large enough lawn that was able to be used. The Captain and his staff were visible, approachable, and ran the ship well. We met with the Silhouette dining room manager who accommodated our request to have three couples dine together. We also appreciated that he maintained the dress code in the dining room at dinner. The dining room service staff were friendly and attentive weather in the main dining room or the Ocean Cafe buffet. The food is always better than average. Our room attendant was always courteous with a smile and was attentive to details to make our stay comfortable. The bar staff were entertaining as well as skilled. The cruise director and entertainers excellent. The entire ship was always kept clean. Thank you for the no smoking policy in the casino. This was the first cruise that we were able to enjoy some time in the casino. 

The accommodations (suite), amenities, wait staff, food and cabin assistance was really above and beyond...just awesome in every way. The excursion in Aruba was fantastic  It was the Wine Tasting at the Wine Room. We learned so much about the different wines and how to match them what we ate as well as how to make sure you are getting a good quality be fore you buy it at a restaurant or on ship

This was an ax Ellen cruise experience all the way around.

we especially enjoyed our shore excursion in Curaçao, snorkeling at two different reefs and a sunken tugboat. Booked through cruise only, Bernice, our tour guide was wonderful!

I can not rave enough about this cruise. The crew was remarkable, the food was out of this world, the Islands were breath taking, and the overall experience was one of the best I've had on a cruise.

This was a great cruise and stopped at islands that aren't normally included in a Caribbean cruise. The ship (Celebrity Equinox) is a beautiful ship. The staff on board is exceptionally friendly and go out of their way to make sure that all your questions are being answered in a timely manner.  I would not hesitate to cruise again on this ship - Aqua Class is the way to cruise if you choose Celebrity.
