Review summary

It was pleasant I don’t think I’ll do another celebrity until we are older but it was a lovely cruise the staff and service was great just not a lot to do for the younger crowd.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food selection was mediocre. The best night was day 6 when they had lobster tail for dinner and scallops for the starter. Other than that there was nothing spectacular about the food. Service in all areas was excellent though.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Again it was more geared to the older crowd (retirees) so for my husband and myself there wasn’t as many activities a 30 something would be interested in.

Entertainment

4 out of 5

Celebrity Theater

3 out of 5

The comedians were ok parts were funnier than others. We like Rondell Sheridan he was awesome but the other comedian was just ehh. The singers were decent some shows were more entertaining than others. Night one was the best as far as signing shoes. The most modern music. Some of the shows were a little boring.

Grand Foyer

4 out of 5

The music was usually decent but hardly any seats to just relax and listen. We loved watching the two dancers that danced every night they were very entertaining.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our balcony view was obstructed by a life boat. But our stateroom attendant was Adi was awesome!

Ship tip

If you’re under the age of 50 consider a different cruise line

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

The visitor information person was awesome with their recommendations. Be careful of the cab drivers. We asked ours to take us to calico jacks based off a recommendation from the visitor information person and the cab driver said he would take us and then let us off a a totally different beach and then said calico jacks was too far.

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Clean, fast to get on the ship. Fast to get off the ship. A little confusing as to what to do with your luggage when you arrive. Taking a taxi too and froM the airport is cheaper than Uber

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Like any other tourist area in Mexico nothing special nothing bad

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

4 out of 5
Again nothing special nothing bad. Looks Iike every other port in Mexico.

Key West, Florida

Expensive but can walk all over. Everyone was friendly. Plenty of places to eat or grab a drink. Over all loved it.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
We were giving a bag tag and told a location and time that we can disembark but that was a little too late for our flight time so we had hail our own luggage with us so we didn’t miss our flight. Once the line started moving it was fast but I think everyone was in the same boat and their disembark times were too late for their flights. It would have been helpful if the ship asked what time your flight was. Maybe to better accommodate those with early flights.
