Review summary

Don't waste your money on a Concierge up-grade, most of what was on their website has been discontinued, a rip-off. Do not expect to have gracious uncrowded situations at the pool. Service is medium. Will not Sail with Celebrity again and this was our third cruise this year.

I think i would stay at home and lock the door that way nothing can disappoint you. Such ridiculous comments and why would you want someone to clean your shoes for you FFS that's just ridiculous.

It is true that after the recent dry dock Celebrity has removed the upgraded shower heads from Concierge rooms and made other cutbacks. There aren’t many reasons to pay for concierge now, sadly.

We did Concierge on this ship not long ago and thought it was excellent... Can’t say whether it did or didn’t have the things mentioned in terms of power shower, etc; no idea what the shoe shine service is supposed to be all about (I wouldn’t dream of asking someone to clean my shoes any more than I would ask someone to wipe my backside, it’s 2019 for God’s sake not the days of slavery)... We were in a suite with Celebrity a short time afterwards and I don’t expect some of these almost ridiculous expectations were available there either, and if they were I wouldn’t have demeaned the ‘butler’ by asking for them... The up-charge for Concierge is so nominal that to expect a service akin to a Suite is totally unrealistic...
