Review summary

I'm a loyalist and love Celebrity. Won't take any other cruise line any more. They are just too good at what they do.

Embarkation

Ok, had to wait in line, but pretty much to be expected.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food in main dining room and specialty restaurants are excellent. Never had a bad meal there and we never had to wait for a table. Buffet could be better, but the pizza & Italian station and the salad bar which was great! The dessert station was also excellent. Be sure to check out the buffet during off hours for great treats. We went up after the show one night and discovered a cupcake bar! I was run over a couple of times by people who were too busy looking at what was to eat rather than where they were going.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
My favorite place is the Solarium while my husband goes to the casino. Its quite and very relaxing. Pool and jacuzzi outside is way too crowded during sea days. Usually go there while ship is in port one day. Hint: pool and jacuzzi is open until 10pm. and no one is there!! Go up after dinner one night and enjoy.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
I've been on 3 Celebrity cruises and this is the first time I didn't care for the 2 stage shows. Singers were good but a few times the females were stretching for notes. Always love the special guest performers. Nu Image, the house band was excellent for dancing. If you have never tried Silent Disco, its a must. Too much fun. Full moon party up on the pool deck was fun too.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Never had a bad experience. All staff was personal, professional and seemed happy to be there.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I like celebrity because it is a smaller ship. You won't stand in line like some of those megaships. For the shows, you walk right in and sit down. You don't need reservations.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Closet is good size. We always pack about a dozen plastic hangers to hang most of our clothes. You can always leave them. Bathrooms are designed with lots of room and lots of places to hold your toiletries. Beds are comfortable. Always clean.

Ship tip

If your really looking for a quite place during the day, go to the Sky Lounge at the front of the ship. Great view.

Ports of call

Key West, Florida

Beautiful but tons of people

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

3 out of 5
This port was built by the cruise industry. We just got off walked around, had lunch and got back on the ship. Not much to do in this port but shop and see the dolphins.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We took a taxi up to a resort for the day and it was great (resortforaday.com). Well worth the $20 taxi ride.

George Town, Grand Cayman

took a tour of the island and visited Hell and the turtle farm. Next time we plan on going straight to the turtle farm and they have a beautiful area where you can swim with the turtles.

Disembarkation

Walked off early before everyone else and zoomed through customs and were in our car on I95 by 8:15am.
