Review summary

Cruise was good. This was our 2nd Celebrity cruise and we really like them. Their ships are not as large as some of the other cruise lines.

Embarkation

Very slow. Had to wait in line for almost 1 hour. In the beginning Celebrity only had 3 agents getting all the passengers checking for boarding. By the time we got to the counter they had 8 agents working.

The entertainment was great. We saw 3 good shows.

Ensemble Lounge

Good place to go. Nelsa is a great bartender. We met her the day we boarded. She remembered our names & always had a smile on her face.

Adults only cruise for us.

Service and Staff

Our head waiter was Omer and he was good. Nelsa in the Ensemble lounge was awesome. Melbourne at the Mast bar was also great.

Layout & design was good. Same for the common areas.

Cabin / Stateroom

Size & cleanliness was good. The mattress on our bed was in bad shape. Needed to be replaced.

Ship tip

Use the Solarium and their Aqua Spa cafe as much as possible. The food at the cafe was good & healthy and the Solarium was peaceful.

Bigger is not always better. The more people on board bigger ships can effect quality of services provided. I do not look for Celebrity to ever build mega ships.
