Embarkation

Comfortable and fast. Quickly processed (did all the pre-checks prior). Short wait in the lounge as we arrived a little early, then boarded quickly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food quality and service exceptional would rate at 5 stars. Downgraded by 1 star because when in port, only the buffet and pool side grill are open for lunch. This is a change from when we previously cruised with Celebrity 1 1/2 years ago. While the buffet is fine, its not the same as having a relaxing sit down venue with table service. In that past cruise on the Reflection, one main dining room section on the 3rd deck was open for a sit down venue. Believe there should be a more formal venue retained for lunch while in ports.

Martini Bar & Crush

5 out of 5

Amazing selections on the menu, but when you're tired with those, the mixologists will invent something new for you.

Silhouette Restaurant

5 out of 5

THis if for LUMINAE. Best dining staff on the ship!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Fitness center, SPA, and "Apprentice of Time", Silent Disco. Apprentice of Time is a UNIQUE experience that delves into the art of watchmaking. It involves a hands on experience of partially disassembling and reassembling a watch movement. Extremely interesting and hope to see this expanded to other Celebrity ships. Allows the participant to appreciated the elegance of watch design.

5+ ! Hats off to Tom and Jaime who run the experience.

Entertainment

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Top notch. Took time to help an make the cruise a unique experience.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Built in 2003 but looks like new. Well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Steward kept it in tip top condition.

Ship tip

At prime dining times, sea-pool days, or starting port calls, the aft elevators are the busiest. It can be faster going to the forward elevators to move between decks.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Key West, Florida

Loved it, would have liked to stay longer. Great bars and restaurants. A lot of historical things to see.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

4 out of 5
I tire of aggressive vendors trying to sell their stuff. Not much of a shopper, just there to walk around.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Good place to shop for high end jewelry.

George Town, Grand Cayman

4 out of 5
Have to tender into the port which adds dead time waiting for tenders. About 20 minutes each way. I find the port area to be crowded especially when there are several ships in place. Sidewalks are very narrow so you feel the crowding. Good place to shop for high end jewelry.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We used the Valet luggage feature. Our bags left our suite and went directly to the airport and final destination. Highly recommend if your flights qualify. Allows you to walk off right away to tour or catch your flight.
