It was a good trip, but this line is programed for the 25-65 set, not the teen or retired generation. A bit boring.

Review summary

Probably great for cruisers 25 to 60 years old. Very good food, very good ship, great staff, terrible level of activities for mature seasoned travelers. The crew sticks to their routine and is quite efficient, even if it disadvantages a few cruisers, but are very polite and helpful.

Good.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate all dinners and breakfasts at Blu which was great. The main dining room and cafe (lido deck) were good.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
The pool on sea days was terrible. You had to put your towel on a lounger before breakfast. Crowded, and the ship did nothing to manage the lounger hoarders who tied up a chair all day but were only there for an hour or three. There were few talks, no classes in computers or bridge (an iphone camera class was very good), no afternoon tea, no classical music.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
The stage shows, all but one musical, were quite good if you like rock and a volume level that is just below the threshold of pain. There was little or no less raucous music, and nothing classical at any time or place.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very well laid out, good size, everything well run. The ship showed some wear and tear, but was bright, neat, and clean and very pleasant.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Best balcony we have had. Well laid out, roomy, comfortable, very good bathroom and shower.

Ship tip

Be sure this ship is right for you; if it is it is great; if it is not you will not be satisfied.
