We had a wonderful time on the ship.  The ship was large but it never felt like we were too far away from anything.  The ports of call were great and the food was delicious.

We took the bus to the train station to Rome. Stay away from the unathourized cabbies - they will rip you off.

Make sure you research your shore excursions before booking. Some of them took all day.
