Review summary

We enjoyed every moment of the cruise with the exception of embarking in Barcelona and disembarking in both ports where tenders were required. Too long lines or waiting time even for quite active seniors and lack of particular priority measures for older people such as a priority line. We are select members but still more organization was required. All the ship staff is attentive and useful: at guest relations, at restaurants, very particularly our room assistant, waiters at Blue and Maitre D' and his assistant. At Blue, attention to special meals requirements was excellent, however the quality of meals was not as good as our experience in the renovated Infinity in which we have had the pleasure to navigate twice. As compared to our previous experience we did not have the joy to dance, once again, the Infinity's dancing lounge,( not the Sky lounge) is so much cozy and motivating to sit around and look at the dancing couples or dare to dance. In spite of all this we are preparing our next cruise in Celebrity expecting that mentioned inconveniences would be looked at.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
It should be more refined and the title content should be in the food

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I already mentioned that the dancing lounge should be more cozy

Our attendant was excellent

Ship tip

If you really want a more refined ambiance make your reservations in Aqua Class and have breakfast and dinner in the Blue restaurant, As somebody stated in a comment, the public areas are spotless. Common spaces in most of the cases are better when they offer special tastings.

Ports of call

Barcelona, Spain

5 out of 5
We did it on our own

Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France

3 out of 5
The guide only spoke about celebrities and residential prices.

Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy

5 out of 5
The guide was good but the visit to the factory could be avoided

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

5 out of 5
The guide was good but she insisted we go to the last point with her instead of having a coffee in a more decent place

Naples, Italy Did not visit port

We did it on our own and surprisingly as showers were strong, a gentleman stoped his car and gave us his umbrella

Dubrovnik, Croatia

5 out of 5
A quite nice and surprising place we did alone

Venice, Italy

5 out of 5
Excellent the 2nd day which we avoided the tender

Kotor, Montenegro

3 out of 5
Kotor in wonderful but disembarking extremely tedious and a waste of time and energy for passengers that had to get their tender tickets.
