Review summary

WOW! What a vacation.....huge ship with all the amenities but the staff and service always made you feel special. Everything from the shows to the excursions and all the ship's activities were exceptionally well planned and orchestrated. Tons of restaurants and bars...we LOVED the Martini bar and getting an all inclusive beverage package made things really easy! Our stateroom and balcony was roomier than the last Holland America cruise we took and it was kept spotless. Our next cruise will definitely be with Celebrity!

Groan...must have gained at least 10 pounds! The restaurant meals were magnificent; better service, quality and presentation than most 5 star restaurants we've eaten in!

Loved the shows every night and always a bunch of special activities going on somewhere. Also loved the wine and cheese 'party' on the lawn as we were setting sail!

Certainly lots of shopping but didnt' find the prices that great and HATED the intense pressure of the merchants as you walked by. Did not go to Ephesus but enjoyed a walk around the city...

Private cab tour for 5 hours...unfortunately the city was 'on strike' and in spite of the captain's rerouting of our itinerary, many of the city's main attractions (ie the Parthenon) were closed.

Loved the trip to Oaia and the wine tasting; definitely worth doing. Unfortunately it poured rain and we never saw the sun but the scenery is spectacular nonetheless...

The Pompeii ruins were the best of anything we saw....did a private tour with a guide set up with our private taxi driver and then drove the Amalfi coast with a spectacular lunch on the mountainside in Positano. Great shopping in Sorrento..
