food was good, at best, more average especially in sillouette dining room with rather unimaginative menus. Ocean View Cafe good at best. did not try speciality dining.

generally excellent but one occasion at guest services staff member kind of unpleasant when I asked to change to early sitting for one evening. He said "could be difficult. "did you not know about this change yesterday?" I said if I had I would have arranged it yesterday. as it turned out there were plenty of tables available.

with 4 ships in port the lines for cable car were horrible. both up and down. Don't walk up or down!! You are competing with the mules and their handlers for the path!! very unpleasant footing.

terrible time with tenders. only ship in the port that did not get to dock. lost time off tour because of delay in getting ashore. suggest Pompei be visited by all tours in the morning.
