Answer QuestionA: Our last cruise on Equinox in 2019, we booked an inside guarantee cabin and we were given an ocean view cabin in the best location. Midship and mere steps from the passport bar.

A: Yes, when our desired room inventory was low and price difference between guaranteed and choose your own room was significant we have booked a guaranteed room. We had no problem and never received an undesirable room.

Q: My wife has “elite” status with Celebrity. On the Equinox where is the daily “meet and greet” event held and at what time each day???

A: My wife and I are “elite” on Celebrity and “Diamond plus” on Royal Caribbean. I don’t believe Celebrity has a meet and greet evening time like Royal has. We recently sailed on Celebrity Infinity and free daily beverages were loaded on our sea pass ca... rd with no daily “elite” gatherings.See More

A: Overall, I thought the WiFi was pretty good. Sometimes it did cut out, though. But speeds were overall decent.
Answered by TwisterSister86 on February 2, 2023
A: wifi is okay. I had the premium package but when we were deep out at sea, it got really spotty. as we were closer to a port, it improved. make sure you find out which port restaurants or bars have free wifi as well if you need faster speeds.

A: Priority embarkation, canapés every afternoon, lunch in dining room on day 1, bottle of bubbly in room… we think it’s worth it.
Answered by kmwoody24 on November 28, 2022
A: Nothing worthy of any added expense. The embarkation lunch in the MDR was limited to a handful of items, with the servers obviously annoyed that you’re bothering them during a turnover. The priority embarkation is totally unnecessary at Port Evergl... ades, as it’s always a breeze to board. The canapés were usually underwhelming. No reason to purposefully do concierge on Equinox.See More

A: No suit or jacket necessary for men. Nice polo shirt OK for most evenings. Long sleeved dress shirt (no tie required but at least they are easy to pack) for evening chic nights. Don't have to dress up unless you want to. Nice pants and top or dress O... K for ladies.See More

Answer Question
Q: Hi fellow cruisers. I’m scheduled to cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale for the first time since COVID. Need help deciding on how to get the required COVID testing to board ship. I’ve seen testing locations and in-home testing. How much is the average cost for the test? I would appreciate any info. Thank you.

A: I just booked our test. Yes our first time since Covid as well. We are going to CVS to have a test done two days prior to sailing and they accept insurance. So I’m assuming we will have to pay nothing out of our pocket. Made appointments and submitte... d health information. I did it all online.See More
