Review summary

Terrible experience, not for kids. Ports of Call not for kids!

Embarkation

1 out of 5
Hard with strollers

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Difficult because they don’t cater to kids. No kids cups with straws, took 20+ minutes for someone to fetch a high chair. Staff is trained to be welcoming and engaging… it’s so annoying when you’re trying to feed and keep your baby from screaming.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
ZERO places to let kids run around. Kids club has limited hours. We got asked to leave from the pool because my 16 month old son had a swim diaper on. There are PLENTY of adults and kids that still pee in pools!

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Not kid friendly at all.

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
Terrible kids club and zero kid centered entertainment.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Our room attendant was fantastic (hence the 3 stars). Everyone else was mediocre

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
The kids room needs to be up too, bigger, with natural light. It feels like we are in a dungeon

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Not comfortable, too small, other options need to be offered for families traveling with kids that are not incredibly Overpriced.

Ship tip

You either need to market as adult only or put in more effort into making it more baby friendly. This was a terrible trip, I regret going.

I appreciate all of the comments about doing more research on the cruise line. It's difficult with a full time job and 2 tiny kids.. so I trusted my travel agent and the celebrity cruise line reps to answer all of my questions. Unfortunately, I was steered in the wrong directed and was left with a disappointing and pretty stressful experience. My kids are used to fine dining and a "Country Club" like experience which is what I pictured we would experience here. My review is just to have other families with young kids steer clear of this cruise line/ route. Sorry about all the screaming and crying to my fellow travelers!

Appreciate your details. Sorry your ship experience ruined the ports of call. Celebrity is well known as a more adult cruise line.

One word. Disney

We were on the same sailing. It was just terrible; ship was full of screaming and kids. No idea why people with children book a Celebrity cruise and complain about that there id nothing provided for them. Book a cruise with NCL, Carnival or RC.

Oops sorry 😞 thanks

Unfortunately Celebrity cruise lines do not cater to children. Other shipmates have mentioned more appropriate cruise lines for children. Sorry you were disappointed with your entire cruising experience.

It’s always important to research the Cruise Line to know who they cater to. Tri Disney, Royal Caribbean, Carnival or NCL if you were looking for things for kids to do onboard.

Disney is the number one kid friendly cruise. Royal Caribbean comes in a hot second.
