I love Europe and this was my first time to these countries. I personally would never do a Mediterranean cruise again as there just enough time spent at each port. But, it was a good primer to get our feet wet in these countries.

Take a cab from the Port train station at Civitavecchia

Food and Dining

The buffets were awesome (Indian food was fabulous), the food at all the restaurants was excellent also. La Petite was the only mediocre food experience. If you're a coffee drinker use the Cafe on deck 4 or 5, the girls there provide far better service than the one on 14.
Onboard Activities

We used the Spa regularly and it was very nice aside from the up selling of products.
Entertainment

We only saw one show.
Service and Staff

Our cabin steward was very accommodating and the ship staff was very nice. But, I think the managers in customer service could have handled some of our issues better.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was perfect for the 2 of us and the view from the balcony was spectacular. However, right above the 12th deck is the Cafe (There is no 13th deck) and the noise from chairs being dragged across the floor at all hours of the day and night was very intrusive to relaxing.
Can't wait to get back to Rome. The train station at the port has no signage on how to get to the ship. DON"T try to walk, we made this mistake, there is no clear path to the ship, take a cab
We took a ferry to Ischia and visited a Thermal Spa, it wasn't a mistake. But, there isn't enough time to really enjoy it. In hindsight I would've done an excursion or just visited the city of Naples.
We took a train to Florence. Again, it was a short visit in the city (4 hours or so). But, it was such a great experience. We found a Golf Cart tour guide fro $35 per person and it was the best thing we could've done.
Again, glad we we stopped, but wouldn't go back. We found a few small shops in the streets off the main strip that were very nice. Especially the Fromagerie, we bought some cheeses, meats and bread from a local bakery and had a small picnic on the balcony of our ship cabin. Oh, and we found a canned sardine store that was great.
Meh. The Ramblas area is too overcrowded with tourists and St. Joseph's Boqueria was awesome. But way too crowded to really enjoy. We had some really unpleasant experiences with the service in a few restaurants and shops. Everyone we had a pleasant experience with didn't seem to be from Spain. La Pepita had some amazing tapas.
