Even Constellation is a much smaller and older ship as compared to Silhouette, once on the ship you can hardly tell you are on a ship. It is amazingly stable.

Of course, the aft cabins are the best or the forward cabins (port or starboard side) on Deck 7 just at the bump out over the insignia. Those decks are deeper. Definitely take advantage of the movies outside on the Terrace at aft and enjoy the aft deck bar.

We loved the excursions and thought they were will worth the prices! Best decision was to take the Vatican tour at the end of the cruise that took us to our hotel. Angelo went out of his way to take care of all of us. Even protecting us from at personal risk. He also brought us to a different Hilton hotel as we made a mistake on identifying the hotel.

Check the daily schedule and plan out what you want to do. Watch the TV station that tells you what is going on .... (Rich and Jane morning show) Just go explore the ship!!

No self serve laundry. Be sure to bring enough clothing for the duration of the cruise. Ship will do your laundry but the price is high.

Forget the pre-cruise information from Celebrity - it is not always accurate and reliable, and the web site is not very user friendly. Also forget the Celebrity app - unless it has significantly improved, it is useless. Use the paper daily.

Just sit back and enjoy. We booked fairly early, wanted outside cabins and were able to book a very large room at the front of the ship.

The rooms are quite spacious, even the deck 2 oceanview.

Don’t book shire excursions thru Celebrity. They are generally overpriced . You can almost always get the same excursion much cheaper online.

I would tell them not to buy the beverage packages because they are silly. No one should charge for sodas and soft drinks. Just add a few dollars to the cruise and you’d look much more first rate. Presently, the cruise line appears cheap because of that. Beverage packages should only include liquor, wine and beer.
