Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the crew were always polite wishing you a good day and asking if you had a good day, from the crew members mopping the decks in the morning up to the hotel director. They also remembered you. Service was excellent. Staff would come up to you and ask if you wanted anything to drink etc. Cato our cabin attendant was excellent. He kept our cabin beautifully clean twice a day.

Ship Quality

The ships layout was easy to navigate your way around. The ship was very clean and tidy. No matter where you went you always seemed to come across somebody cleaning.

Beautiful port with the city spread out behind it. Did an excursion halfway up Mount Etna and Taormina. Cloud cover prevented us getting clear views on Etna, but taormina was Stunning. Did a walking tour. The place is beautiful.

Valletta, Malta

Amazing totally different from all the other ports visited. Did a hop on hop off tour on the bus. Great experience. Visited Mdina.

Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands

Again a very beautiful port. Did not do a tour, just caught a shuttle bus into town and walked around. The cathedral is beautiful. Also fund a beatiful little 10th century arab baths down a tiny side street with a lovely little garden.

Cartagena, Spain

Fantastic port with boats everywhere. No excursion, just walked into town. Had a lovely meal in town.

Gibraltar (U.K.)

It was very nice, must admit I was surprised at its appearance, was expecting it to look more british (not that itmattered). Did the cable car to the rock. Queued for an hour. Might pay to get tickets in advance or getting a bus or taxi ride up during better weather or summer time.

Barcelona, Spain

Fantastic port. Got on a hop on hop off bus for a tour of the city. Visited Sagrada Familia cathedral. Just takes your breath away. If its sunny outside you're are in for a treat inside with the light shining through the windows.
