We booked with Celebrity because we thought they were supposed to be there be of the better cruise lines. It was avarage at best and the food and beverage operations seem poorly managed. Especially the bars throughout the ship. Celebrity should do a better assessment of the excursion vendors and address the poor tour guides. This was a common complaint when chatting with other travelers aboard ship.

Staff was generally friendly. The Bars were all understaffed, probably intentionally. Getting cocktails during peek periods was frustrating. Since the F & B emplyees are stressed out most of the time, they are not friendly and not service minded. Although they brag about bing honored by Wine spectator, it was unacceptable to be out of so many wines. Premium wines by the glass were marginal, but when most of the items that were ordered over the first couple of days weren’t available, it was a let down. Also, no Irish Beers which are supposed to be available on the Premium bev package. The food was just OK and a big let down since this was supposed to be the main draw. It was literally my mpossible to get any cut of meat cooked as requested. Everything was over cooked and when sent back, was returned as raw.

Food and Beverage emplyees were poorly prepped to work their shifts. Bars we never stocked. Getting a salty dog in the morning was just mpossible without grapefruit juice. Bartenders were understaffed most of the time. Average wait for a drink was 15-20 minutes during peak periods.

Windows filthy. Glass sculpture in main lobby has probably never been cleaned.
Sailed around nd the Culdera. Very picturesque. Lines to go up and return on the funicular were 90+ minutes, so we chose the best option. The meal and drinks were marginal. Super c
We elected the Capri, Sorrento, Pompei excursion. The tour guide who had 34 years experience was terrible. Difficulty to understand, obsolete listening equipment Circo 1970. Very little to offer historically or culturally. For $250, we expected more than just transportation.

I have sailed Celebrity many times before, and while there is variation, perhaps expectations were incredibly high for what to expect.
