Review summary

We loved this cruise! Thank you for the Memorial Day celebration. This was very respectful!! We did have a suggestion about communication with our group was a problem. Most of us could not afford cell phone charges overseas. Carnival cruises had an app (Carnival Hub) you could get for $5 a cruise to connect with your group on your cell phone. That way we could text the group...We are going to the 9:00 show who wants to join us and meet them and sit with them. Our group of 56 were scattered all over the ship and we had a hard time connecting, unless we bumped in to them somewhere.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
My husband Harry and I loved the activities. Jose taught us dancing, Emily taught us swing dancing. Cruise director Rich was wonderful at telling us all the things going on. Jane had great contests. Harry even made the cruise video snapping rubber bands and beating the (crew). He enjoyed getting a medal. We loved Zumba and working out in the fitness center. the pools were wonderful and the hot tub also. We played ping pong and corn hole and golf..Harry got a hole in one. We had so much fun dancing at night too...the bands were great.DJ Krazy prince was awesome. Just in time was the best band!! The silent disco was so fun! We would love to do a murder mystery event if you could fit it in to your busy schedule. The fun squad did a GREAT job!!!

Entertainment

We saw all the shows..all were great! The magic show was super and how nice he taught the passengers how to do a few tricks!! Dr. Sherry was a favorite of ours also.

Service and Staff

We loved our room attendant Tumin...He was so sweet and kind!! Cruise director Rich was great. Emily was so friendly, and does a great worm dance! Jose was my favorite dancer. all the dancers were great. The two that swung around over head...Wow!! Amazing...I must say that Jackie who had a simple job on deck 10 with the hand sanitizer was so fun and lively. She would dance around and sing and made that job dazzle!! We loved to say hi to Jackie every day!! In the dining room we sat at 2 tables and the workers there were so wonderful. Table 315 Among, Nelson, and Lawrence and table 234 Kristian Aushkah and Lawrence. We did not have any crew we did not like.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
We could see that some of the ship was older and needed work, but it did not bother us. The crew was always cleaning up anything that needed cleaned.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We choose a small room because we do not spend much time there...We loved all the storage. Our room steward always cleaned our room and made it dazzle even if it was a tiny room.

Ship tip

Check the daily schedule and plan out what you want to do. Watch the TV station that tells you what is going on .... (Rich and Jane morning show) Just go explore the ship!!

We had trouble getting on the shuttle with our huge group. The driver we had was rude... but what could we do? After the shuttle we got on our tour bus and things went smoothly.

Our faith "Apostolic" has a Apostolicsatsea cruise which is run by a brother and sister, she's the travel agent and they set up Christian entertainment plus we all eat at the same time and we have anywhere from 400-700 going,it's AWESOME,we even had some crew workers joining us and worshipping God!!!!
