Review summary

Some good stops and some so so I would prefer an overnight in Dubrovnik and loose a couple of less than desirable stop and add a Sea day.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Went fairly smooth. Most everyone took the bus from Venice so there was a pretty good line but it went fast

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Celibrity food is generally good. We had a suite but didn't really care for the retreat dining menu not really my taste. We pretty much stuck with the main dining room and tuscan grill. Le petite is OK as a novelty once but the space would be better used as one of the other specialty restaurants. Buffet was pretty typical large crowds for breakfast. Coffee had lots of grounds and not very good.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Smaller older ship with the same old tired activities. They should try some of the throwback activities like hairy chest or come up with se new ones. Fortunately the trip only had one sea day so didn't have to spend much time on board during the day.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
A. Couple of headliners were decent but the main cast shows were terrible with people that do not sing very well. Cruise director Erwin was boring and not very memorable.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was very friendly and always helpful

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
It's an older smaller ship which is preferred by us and some others but it does have limits and shows it's age.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin is very roomy but the tub is a deal breaker. There is no real handles and you literally have to climb into the shower. The royal has a separate shower which is much better.

Ship tip

It's a small ship that is easily navigated. Don't expect race tracks and slides it's a traditional ship bring some books and plan on relaxing

Ports of call

Brindisi, Italy

2 out of 5
Not much here requires a bus that drops you off near a single street of shopping. Excursions were nothing exciting and expensive for what they are.

Trieste, Italy

2 out of 5
A nice stop with close to by shopping but not much else

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

2 out of 5
Not Rome or anywhere close. Rome is over an hour and a half away so add that to any excursion.

Split, Croatia

2 out of 5
Beautiful scenery

Zadar, Croatia

2 out of 5
Most of the nice stuff to see is a drive

Ravenna, Italy

2 out of 5
Only hear because Venice doesn't allow ships. Not much here and it's a 3 hour bus ride from Venice

Salerno (Naples), Italy

2 out of 5
Salerno is not Naples and is a good drive. Amalfi Coast is what to see from here.

Kotor, Montenegro

2 out of 5
A. Very neat port with nice water and city walls with shopping

Dubrovnik, Croatia

2 out of 5
Awesome spot have to shuttle or taxi to the city walls but a must see
