Embarkation went smoothly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Waiter & assistant waiter were absolutely great! Sommelier was also great. Food quality was good in main dining room but not exceptional. Ditto for Ocean View Cafe. Tuscan Grille was superb!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Did not participate in any onboard activities.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Theater entertainment was sub-par to Celebrity’s usual offering. The so-called orchestra was a 6-piece band. Never saw a typical Celebrity musical performance by the Celebrity Singers & Dancers. One performance by a group doing Frankie Valley songs were okay…not great. Overall disappointment in entertainment venue.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
5 Stars to Suputra & Aaron & Pio( main dining). 4+ stars to cabin attendant (no need to mention name). We met the sweetest young lady in the Ocean View Cafe each day who was/is the sweetest person we have ever met. Name…Nobel (spelling is correct…like Nobel Prize). She can brighten anyone’s day with her smile.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship needed some work in areas but it was clean & comfortable.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Great quiet location…oceanview near main lobby area (Customer Relations & Shore Excursions). One deck below Martini Bar & Casino & main dining.

Ship tip

You can expect an overall good cruise with plenty to enjoy onboard. Beware, however, consecutive ports of call can become quite tiresome. Only 2 sea days with 11 ports. We had 6 excursions…pretty exhausting.

Ports of call

Barcelona, Spain

5 out of 5
Always love Barcelona. 4th time to visit there.

Marseille (Provence), France

Port was fine…Le Petite Train would have been better had we not been cramped in so tightly. Very uncomfortable! Would not recommend.

Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France

4 out of 5
Bud ride/tour was fine. Saw some beautiful scenery.

Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy

2 out of 5
Train ride to Florence. Not worth $89/pp. lots of walking ( to be expected but just seemed unorganized.

Valletta, Malta

5 out of 5
Very pretty port. We had a friend onboard who was very familiar with Vallete…gave us a walking tour. Enjoyed this port.

Taranto

4 out of 5
We just got off the ship for a walk around the city and an authentic Italian pizza and wine.

Zakynthos, Greece

4 out of 5
A casual walk around town & lunch…people watching included.

Kotor, Montenegro

5 out of 5
Kotor was beautiful. A “must see” port.

Dubrovnik, Croatia

5 out of 5
Beautiful, very clean city. Did not have an excursion…just a casual day walking around seeing the sights.

Zadar, Croatia

4 out of 5
Sorry, can’t remember anything about this port.

Koper, Slovenia Did not visit port

Rained…stayed onboard to pack for disembarkation.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
Celebrity took the liberty of assigning us a 6:40am time of disembarkation. No need for such an early time b/c we had no excursion scheduled after the 2 1/2 hour bus ride to Venice. Tried to get rescheduled for a later time to disembark and catch a later bus, but was “rudely” told by a Customer Relations agent that nothing else was available. Turns out, there were at least 12 seats available on a bus leaving at 8:05. Intend to express my dissatisfaction of the manner this disembarkation was handled. Particularly by one specific CR agent.
