Celebrity needs to make some improvements.

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The itinerary was the best part of the cruise - loved the ports in Slovenia - most of our tour guides were informative which made the sightseeing enjoyable.  Our cabin was very nice - we had a balcony which we enjoyed since the weather was always warm and sunny.  The food was a disappointment - there was variety but many times was tough and not very tasty.  With the desserts, there were the same 3 items served every night and just 2 new and different choices.  Our 2 waiters. Freddy and Arthur were excellent.  Most of the nightly shows were good, especially the 2 aerialists.

Cabin / Stateroom
Cabin was comfortable with a veranda which we loved, especially since the weather was warm and sunny.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Overall, was good even though chaotic on disembarkation day.
Ship Quality
The only thing we didn't like about the design was that we had to do so much walking to get to our room, 6040, getting to the dining room and cafeteria on 10th floor.
Destinations and Excursions
Enjoyed almost every destination - something interesting to see at all of them
Onboard Activities

didn't have enough time to check out too many. Spent a bit of time in casino and managed to win a necklace and earrings at one game which was fun.
Was good most nights, especially the production numbers by the cast of the crew.
Service and Staff
Freddy and Arthur who served us in the dining room were excellent. We were at Table 528, First Seating, with 10 people so they worked hard but were always pleasant and helpful.
Food and Dining

Wrote about it above.

Venice, Italy
Took boat ride around the different parts of the lake which was so enjoyable and then walked from St. Mark's to the Rialto Bridge.
Ravenna, Italy
Don't miss the tour taking you to see the mosaics in 2 churches - outstanding.
Split, Croatia
Took a walking tour of Diocletian's Palace and sights around the palace.
Kotor, Montenegro
Be sure to watch your ship's entrance into this fjord - it is one of the most beautiful spots you will ever see.
Valletta, Malta
Went to see the caves in a small boat which I enjoyed very much - it was something different.
Catania, Sicily
Was on Hop On Hop Off bus and were caught in a thunderstorm where we were soaked so didn't get a chance to see much of Catania.
Naples, Italy
Take Hop On Hop Off bus to go around Bay of Naples which is a marvelous ride and then the tour around the city is an eye opener watching the chaotic traffic.
Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
End of trip where we went home.
