Nice Cruise

Sail Date: October 10, 2008

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Oceanview

The experience was pretty good. However a couple of things to be aware of:First the staterooms are too small for 3 people. The third person has to be able to climb steps to get to a bunk bed. This is better for a child. We did not have a balcony ,next time I would reccommend a balcony since window can not be opened. The room can be very confining. This is a fast paced cruise if you want to visit the cities from the port. You should reasonably fit. There is a lot of walking.Overall the experience was good ,however I prefer to stay at a hotel next time too spend more quality time in the city I am visiting.

Pros: Plenty of things to do on ship

Cons: The room is way too small

Recommends Celebrity Century? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy
Pisa was the nicest.Disappointed with Florence very crowded and dirty
Marseille (Provence), France
Malta
Very poor country. You can get really depressed
Tunis, Tunisia
From the minute you are off the ship you are being pulled in all different directions. There is high pressure selling which can be very un nerving
Naples, Italy
Very crowded very dirty.Pompeii was nice but it is 40 minutes from the boat
Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France
The best by far.The city was clean the people very friendly.
Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
It is 1 hour too get to rome from the port. Also not enough time to really see anything. An overnight stay here would have been much better
