Celebrity Beyond is definitely a cruise you want to experience!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
This was the smoothest, easiest and friendliest embarkation I've experienced
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
There's the option to dine at any of the 4 main dining rooms, Tuscan (Italian), Cosmopolitan(American), Cyprus (Greek) or Normandie (French). The food was excellent and the plating of our food really elevated our experience. We totally loved it!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We enjoyed morning stretch, ALL of the game shows in The Club w/Marc, Mark, & Ozzie, water aerobics, Celebrity Music bingo, Celebrity bingo, and most importantly Silent Disco! That was the absolute highlight was dancing like crazy and working off the calories from our food and drinks. It was so good!
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The shows were boring, in my opinion. We went to Decadence in Eden and it did NOT live up to the hype. After leaving from the 1st show in the theatre, I wasn't interested in any other shows. Comparing the shows to what we experiences on RC Symphony of the Seas the shows bombed...in my opinion
Children's Programs
I didn't have children on my cruise with me to experience the children's activities
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The staff and service was EXCELLENT! From our room attendant, Xavier, to the MDR staff such as Alit, Ramil, and Askrit. We even enjoyed Mark, Marc and Ozzie. Everyone was so personable, kind and accommodating if we needed.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everything was also being cleaned, wiped down, cleaned up....we never saw trash overflowing, dirty restrooms or unkempt areas while onboard.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our room was spacious and had tons of storage. Actually there was more storage than we needed which is always a plus. Our beds were comfortable and relaxing.
We did our own excursion on the Water Taxi and that was so fun and lasted abt 3hrs. It was only $40 and allow us to kill time after disembarkation until our flight left later that evening
We did the Best of Cozumel which included visits to the Mayan Bee Sanctuary, Mayan Cacao Company, and the Tequila tasting. This was such a good experience and we learned a lot of great info. I highly recommend this excursion because it's not taxing on the physical body if you have limitations with getting around and we had the ability to ride in an air condition van helping us to cool off in between drops.
It was very smooth just like embarkation. They called our number and we were able to get right off the ship, grab our luggage and get to the airport transport buses without any issues.
Thanks for the review at least you enjoyed besides the show, and unfortunately Cruise Lines are aiming more for their Private Islands or destinations, on one hand they got options as port of call may cancel but on the other is Another Nickle & Dime thing
Coco Cay is just a money grab. And unfortunately a preview of what's to come, as RCL and Carnival build their own destination to keep your money in their pockets. Destination are no longer important, and they will cancel a port of call and go to their properties in a heart beat. Sorry to see Celebrity go this rout as well.
