Review summary

Found price high for overall premium experience Celebrity is usually known for. Staffing issues post pandemic with visas etc similar to airline industry with no pilots. In this case no visas. Book to the max not knowing if minimum staffing will be met. It isn t in my view. Maybe I am too demanding queues at future cruises seems to say I may be. I found my one week cruise on Virgin far superior well staffed working Wi-Fi and not cramped. Not same target demographic but change is good sometimes.

Embarkation

Little hectic not as organized as FLL but good

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
When ship is full ( new ship so most of time) complete disaster at dinner. Select diners don t know they can reserve so arrive as walk inns. Others assigned 830 automatically become walk in with beeper. Do not understand why everyone just needs to reserve according to capacity. Service and outside queue would improve. Ocean view at lunch on sea day in bad weather is a nightmare. They jam 3100 passengers on ship which is really not good for a good cruise. Bars restaurants full service suffers. Lack of adequate staffing per passenger.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Very crowded with full passenger count. Especially when bad weather closes outer decks. Limit of passenger count should be set.

Entertainment

Great overall

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Staff is wonderful overwhelmed frazzled but do their best.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Beautiful ship overall and kept clean except for ocean view at lunch bit of a disaster

Cabin / Stateroom

On transatlantic with bad weather it becomes ocean view as always blocked by bridge. Even when just windy they are blocked. Soundproofing forgotten. can hear neighbour on phone. Asked to change. Should get credited to ocean view rate. Give me the old style balconies. I will probably cancel future infinite verandas will price other cruise lines to decide.

Ship tip

Wait till it’s no longer flagship just ends up being too crowded.

No shuttle to get out of port area far from transit light rail. Good for containers not for passenger satisfaction

Disembarkation

Good but customs don t use facial recognition like port Everglades so much slower.
