Review summary

My husband and I had a blast. We ate, we drank and we had fun! Great way to relax and spend time with one another. Carnival is our favorite cruise line! Carnival FANatics for life!

Embarkation

Embarkation was quick and easy. Yes we did wait in line but the lines moved fairly quickly. We just chatted with our fellow cruisers to pass the time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was soooo good in the mdr. Guys Burgers never disappointed! The Blue Iguana was always fresh and yummy! I love the watermelon/jicama salsa! We ate breakfast every morning in the Lido buffet. The omelettes were fresh and hit the spot! We did not go hungry at all.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
My husband and I enjoyed spending some time in the Serenity area. The hot tubs were hot and relaxing. We played mini golf (I won)! Lol. My husband rode the Skyride and he had a blast! Good leg workout he said. We also enjoyed the Thermal Suite area as we had a spa balcony cabin. The steambath room was amazing.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We went to all of the stage shows. All of the performers did an amazing job! We went to several comedy shows as well. Laughed alot! We always watch the Fun aboard Fun ashore show! Groove for St Jude is so much and all the money goes to a great cause!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service we received was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and so helpful. Our cabin steward was super helpful and always had a kind word. (I don't remember his name! Sorry!) Our dinner waiter in the mdr David and his crew were entertaining and very attentive. They made every single dinner memorable and fun.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was very clean and easy to navigate. Ok ok I cheated a bit though. Lol. I looked at the ship deck plans and made a note as to where things were in relation to our cabin. That helped alot! We were very impressed with the whole ship!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was roomy and clean. Plenty of storage space for all of our stuff. When we are able to get in our cabin I always unpack. We store our suitcases and stuff we don't need all the time under the bed. That way we have more room. The bathroom is just the right size for us. Glad that there are shelves on either side of the sink. The balcony was so relaxing. We spent alot of time out there looking at the water.

Ship tip

Have fun! Don't overpack! Try all of the delicious dining options throughout your cruise! Take lots of pictures and talk to people!

Ports of call

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

We did the Turqouise Bay Private All Inclusive excursion. We took a bus to the private beach. The staff were amazing and very friendly. Our drinks were never empty or weak! The food was decent but the drinks more than made up for it! The water was so crisp and cool. Overall we had a great time!

Belize City, Belize

5 out of 5
We did the Kayab Caye Private Island Getaway. The island was pretty cool. We rode a boat out to it. We snorkelled for about an hour and a half. Saw lots of cool fish. Really enjoyed that part. Lunch was not that good. The rum punch was very strong and they kep it coming! We walked around the small island and hung out in the water for a bit. Probably wouldn't do this excursion again but we enjoyed ourselves.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We have been to Cozumel quite a few times. We booked the Dolphin Swim with Lunch and drinks this go round. This was by far one of new my favorite excursions we have done to date. We got to interact with 2 dolphins Leo and Maya. We were amazed at how smart the dolphins are. We got to touch them and give them hand signals to do things. Didn't get any pictures of our own and we were not gonna pay 75.00 for a picture that they took. I would give this one 10 stars if I could!

Galveston, Texas

5 out of 5
We always come down the night before our cruise and wall on the beach collecting shells. Then we go to dinner and then it's bedtime!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We had no issues with disembarkation except that the elevators were all clogged up. We eventually just walked down the stairs and made it off the ship pretty fast.
