Carnival itself did a fabulous job. Staff was excellent. Ship was a bit strange on the layout. Good was great, especially considering the quantity of people they feed in a certain time frame. I would definitely recommend carnival to anyone wanting to cruise!

Check in time was 12-12:30. We arrived a bit early and were actually on the ship, eating a burger with a drink in hand by 11:45.

Main dining room had a great selection. Did not try any of the special restaurants. Buffet was hit and miss (most buffets are). There are PLENTY of dining options!

I'm giving this a 4 only because of the layout. The cleanliness was great. There was CONSTANT cleaning going on at all times in all floors. The layout was a bit weird. I disliked having to walk through the casino to get to some areas. It seemed like everything was on multiple levels, and we were never on the right one. Some levels were just plain difficult to maneuver. Deck 11, for instance. If you went to deck 11 aft, you had to walk the entire length of the ship outside to get to fwd. Not the best if it's raining or on the chilly side.
Cabin / Stateroom

This was a great room, UNLESS you are an early to bed person. It is in close proximity to the top lido area. The parties do get a bit loud, but typically don't last long. You could hear the music well from the balcony, which was nice. Escape the croud, but still hear the entertainment. The convenience was great. Just a few steps to coffee, water, guys burgers, etc. Very clean. Ample room. I would recommend to anyone (unless you are in bed earlier than 10pm of course)
This was not my favorite. Very commercialized. The port itself is pretty, anything outside of that isn't great. Ziplining wasn't my idea of fun. Beaches were ridiculously crowded. Too many people in your face trying to sell you massages, hair braiding, etc.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such great feedback. We are cruising in about a month and this was very informative. Just curious about the embarkation and debarkation process. Our last carnival cruise when we boarded it was a snap however when we were leaving it was crazy.
Next time in Honduras take a taxi to the West side of the island. Best snorkeling and there's hardly anyone there. The waters were amazing!!! The people were so kind! Ended up being a favorite stop for us but we didn't stay in all the craziness. Glad you enjoyed your trip!
