Carnival Vista is a very nice ship. The Havana rooms are worth the extra $. I was surprised how much I enjoyed Roatan. Didn't know much about it beforehand. Beautiful island!
Embarkation

Galveston is easy. Park across the street, go get on ship.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Guy's Burgers are excellent. Steakhouse was worth the extra $ Most of the buffet and main dining rooms were good. I do think I may have had some bad shrimp from Italian restaurant on the last sailing day.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Havana area was great for board games. We also did the ropes course and sky rider was fun!
Havana hot tubs & lounging area were never crowded.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Shows in main area were good, but not spectacular. I think RC puts on better shows. However, the voice of the main singer was awesome!! Also, the comedians were really good!
Service and Staff

All personnel were very nice and friendly and know your names.
Ship Quality

It is a little confusing getting from front to back of ship on the promenade levels. Had to go through the Casino which I don't like because of smoke.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was great! Balcony was HUGE!!! I just wish they had more comfortable loungers on the balcony. There was only one that would adjust for easy reading. The other chairs had you slouching too much. Not very comfortable. For that size balcony and price for room you should have 2 decent loungers similar to on the Havana deck with some cushions.
We went to the Mayan Ruins - Xanantunich. GREAT experience. Worth the long drive there and back. Very nice bus, booked through Carnival. Great tour guides!
Beautiful Island. Had a private van take us around to see monkeys, sloths, snorkeling, and local lunch. great day! The reef for snorkeling is Awesome there!
Thank you for taking the time to leave such great feedback. We are cruising in about a month and this was very informative. Just curious about the embarkation and debarkation process. Our last carnival cruise when we boarded it was a snap however when we were leaving it was crazy.
