Ship: Carnival Victory

Cabin type: Balcony

Review summary

We have cruised many times. The ship was clean. The service was average which we attribute to the prepaid gratuities. The shows some of the worse I have seen on a cruise. The timing of the shows were late and difficult to attend if you had an early excursion.

Food and Dining

In the future we will probably choose anytime dining. We like meeting new people and for the first half of the cruise we were alone at our table.

4X4 tour to waterfall swim. Cold but exhilarating.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

Did taxi tour to fort. Better than derailed train ride.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Taxi around island made us want to come back on our own.

Castries, St. Lucia

Booked 4x4 tour through cruises.com. Cheaper that cruise line. Waterfall, hot mud bath, buffet, and beach all great.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Champagne catamaran snorkeling was fantastic. We have been to better sites, but the crew was very friendly.

Bridgetown, Barbados

Hike and cave trip worth the money.

Pros: The excursions were great

Cons: Service was less than average. Food was average.
