Review summary

The Victory is a very nice ship but the cruise begins and ends in Peurto Rico. At least 50% of the pasengers were Peurto Ricans who took over the Lido Deck #9 Pools etc, and the adjoining Mediterranean Buffet/Restaurant from morning till night, very noisy and also the entertainment system up there was so loud, that whole area was really not usable.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Good quality and choice.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Evening song and dance shows a little old-fashioned

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the staff were excellent, but special mentions to our Pacific Dining Stewards - Philip and Yuni, and to our Cabin Steward, Saidi. All great people.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Needs a quiet lounge where you can talk or read and rest in peace and quiet

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
On Deck 10 with balcony - good size room, we liked it

Do the scenic tour - great views of the town, beaches and other islands

Roseau, Dominica

5 out of 5
Wonderful atmosphere, once you get through the throng of tour operators as you get off the ship. Must see the rain forest

Bridgetown, Barbados

3 out of 5
Not so dramatic as the other islands, but does have some great beaches
Don't Miss: Go shopping on Broad Street

Basseterre, St. Kitts

5 out of 5
Nice town. We took a cab to Frigates Bay Beach - that's just not worth visiting - there must be better beaches than that

Castries, St. Lucia

5 out of 5
The best of the lot. Go shopping in Castries and we did a scenic tour again - well worthwhile

Pros: The itinerary - Eastern and Southern Caribbean

Cons: Too noisy - Deck #9 Lido, virtually unusable
