Review summary

For some unknown reason embarkation as it pertained to getting on ship was untypically chaotic. Food in MDR was very good except for the 2nd elegant night. Calamari was horrible and Prime Rib I think was Roast beef. On the tough side. Room was well maintained Entertainment was very good Seas were choppy but bearable. Favorite Bar, Carnavale, and Best Bartender Savio. He is however moving to Serenity. Worth a visit for sure. Dominican Republic do city sights and Ocean World tour. Very good cruise. 4th time on this ship

10 fine meals in MDR. 2nd elegant night, Calamari was like rubber bands and Prime Rib didn't look or taste like Prime Rib. Other than that 1 Glitch food was as expected

Strongly recommend visiting Savio at Serenity Bar or Jaya at Carnavale. Savio was amazing at all aspects of Bar tendering

4 last 4 cruises I've had issues with design. Won't change so live with them. Cleanliness was as expected. Very Clean

What time did you get to the port? Was that the same time arrived there on previous cruises? Agreed that if you sailed on the same ship before, you can’t complain about the same issues again (like decor) you already know exist.

I had the same issue with chaotic embarkation when I went on Venezia from NYC to Bermuda in June. Getting back on after spending the day in Bermuda was also a huge hassle. I have never before had to wait more than a couple of minutes to board from a port of call, and I waited over an hour in the sun to get back on in Bermuda. There seems to be something really wrong there! Other than those two experiences, though, I enjoyed it!
