Not nearly enough sun. Most lounging areas were in the shade. Not a good seat in the theater. Not enough temperature zones or poor use of them caused overly cold and warm areas.

So I have been on 18 cruises with Carnival and can honestly say with my experience there is no such thing as a bad Cruise at least with Carnival

I’m leaving on Venezia in August and I’ll make my own judgment! Actually out of 4 days 3 are in Specialty Restaurants! Pool is definitely small so go up a level!

Considering you also had severe problems with Royal's food surprised you would recommended them. Perhaps mass market cruise lines are not for you. Try the upscale ones like Cunard or the boutique lines like Viking. To see if they better meet your tastes.
