It was great and Brandon the cruise director is the BOMB.com
Embarkation

Getting onto the ship was pretty fast. The luggage process was easy. There was a slight delay because my mother in law passport didn't match what name carnival had but it was pretty easy to resolve.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
the main dining was perfect every name. Every waiter and waitress was phenomenal (Puerto Rico, was the best). From explaining the menu to the nightly entertainment. The Personalities were very warming and their memory of names were very surprising. The Food options at dining is plentiful, you shouldn't have a problem finding something to your liking. The buffets are great to, the Guy burgers are the bomb, again there's something you should find and enjoy. The only complaint I have is the beverage selection. The lemonade isn't good, I didn't try the tea, the coffee was good. Carnival, really shouldn't be charging for sodas and if you going to serve the lemonade at least make it tasteful. Bring your own drinking containers to keep full and have with you so that when you're sitting on the deck you will stay cool and when you go off the ship you can have your drink already. The cheese pizza is delicious for it to be so thin. I really enjoyed breakfast every morning, the omelet station is amazing and guess what they have egg white just in case your a healthy eater (just ask for it.)
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The Lideo deck is very entertaining and fun. The effort the staff put into entertaining everyone is very appreciate, anyone not finding themselves entertain is probably just boring people. The ice sculpture was interesting to watch, the dance contest/ Tarzan challenge was very funny, the Dj's were very versatile and good at what they do. The fitness center was very nice, I went in about 3 times and did cardio. the steam room and sauna is the best, so take your work out clothes.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The comedy club was very nice along with the comedian, I attempted the bingo session until I realize you had to pay. the red frog club is the best the musicians and the band is awesome and very friendly. this isn't the night club that's right next door. the night club on the other hand is very cool as well. The selection of music is very versatile and fun. My 20 year old daughter enjoyed herself every night.
Children's Programs
4 out of 5
My child is 20 but I can say that the ship really caters to small children and they will truly enjoy themselves.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward introduced himself the first day and later on while coming back we ran into him and he greeted us by name. My husband was impressed that he actually remembered our name. I cant remember his name but he was friendly and kept our room very clean.Th
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The workers on this ship really really work hard! I don't care how old this ship may be I didn't notice anything to complain about. I saw them on their knees cleaning walls, the outside chairs, they keep the tables clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
My bed was very comfortable, the pillows were a bit to soft. I stayed in a balcony room and just loved it. The restroom was fine and plenty of closet space.
Ship tip
Bring your water containers just so you will have, bring swimming shoes, know they do charge a gratitude fee of $sixty something dollars per person, have your sun screen and your dressy outfits for dinner and if you want to go to a show. go to your bank before leaving and get a lot of $1's that way you want have to use your debit card. Also instead of registering your debit card, you can just wait till you get on the ship and give them cash to apply o your ship and sail card. When you see your cash is running low just go to customer service and apply more money.
the excursions was cool. I think it's the deluxe private beach, where they feed you and give you drinks in Progresso and please have tip money for them, they deserve it. This excursion was paid for once we got off the ship in Progresso. The catamaran was pretty cool it comes with snorkeling, I didn't do it but my other members did and they said the water is very cold. I decided to stay on and drink and take pictures of everyone else. Have tip money for them to. Just get you a lot on one dollar bills for tipping and just paying for things. that way you want have to use your debit card.
Cozumel would be my favorite, things didn't appear as cluttered and the people wasn't as aggressive as in Progresso. It wasn't over whelming though. This is where the Catamaran excursion is. they will have signs up of any excursion you choose to do, that way your not lost.
this is where we went to the private beach. they provide transportation to and from. This excursion is roughly $35 when you pay off the ship. they will have a stand when you get off the ship for excursions.
This is very timely. Brandon the cruise director does his best to give direct instructions on how he want things done but unfortunately people don't do as their told and end up making everyone else wait. This is truly a slow process, so just be patient and follow instructions.
