Progresso was not the greatest, but since we had a great price, the trip was overall was am awesome bang for the buck. Had a good time and will likely go again when I find really low price.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
This was my 4th cruise and boarding was the fastest ever. Drop off luggage and time to get to my room was less than 30 minutes!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The included food was great. We did not eat at the few paid places on the boat. The regular ol burger place has insanely good burgers! Wow, they were really freaking good.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Loved the shows. The comedian was really funny! 3 pools, but they were a bit crowded, but great to float in when it was hot.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
Music rocked, but also heard it in my room at 2am. We were 1 room from the back of the boat.
Seminar on the coupon book promised a necklace in town ($50 value). Wife bought the book and the store is not in business. She was highly disappointed.
Service and Staff

They knew my name and were friendly.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Not the newest ship, but was pretty nice. No issues.
Cabin / Stateroom

Clean and working order. Maid kept it clean. Only one electrical outlet.
Ship tip
Progresso isn't the greatest place with pre-made shopping area to support the cruise ship. It was not near town so sucked for some. We planned an excursion so I had no issues with Progresso since I didn't do anything there.
Great place, clean, lots of booths and performers to entertain you. Good food, music, and social environment. Water was beautiful as was the port. Water was warm and we went scuba diving.
Just nothing there really. Carnival had a few building thrown in (nice and new) for the typical tourist trap sales of goods. However, the port is a commercial port that is miles away from town. It is not pretty and the water was not clear. It was like pulling into a truck stop. Highly recommend an excursion. We took an excursion, so the port was not an issue for us as we were out and about.
