Review summary

Although I'm glad I ticked this off my bucket list, cruising is not for me. I won't be cruising again. All things considered it is not a good value for my vacation dollar, even though Carnival is competitively priced. This cruise represented my entertainment budget for an entire year and I can't help but have a little buyer's remorse.

Embarkation

Carnival has this process down to a science. We went through the processs quickly. The only downside was waiting in our zone for actually boarding. There were many loud disrespectful people in our area, but that wasn't Carnivals fault.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

There was plenty of variety but I can't say I had anything really excellent. The meals in the Lincoln Dining room were best. Very upset about the overpriced watered down drinks. I finally just quit buying them.

Onboard Activities

The pools are too small to accomodate that many passengers. I know they can be only so big to be on deck. The lido pool was always full of kids, some eating ice cream dripping into the water. This made the adult pool packed.

Entertainment

The comedian was pretty good. The two stage shows I saw was ok. I preferred the rock show over the country review. Most of the performers were really talented but a couple of the singers were just bad.
