Review summary

This was our first ever cruise and we were so excited to go but from the start things left us disappointed.

First when we got to the port for our check in time we had to wait in a cue for 3 hours before we could get on the boat. The staff were saying something about a technical problem with the computers but we received no conformation or apology.

Once onboard the ship with our carry-on luggage for the first time we asked a member of staff to help us find our cabin, she just responded with information about a spa offer and walked off.

Our good friends had arranged a bottle of wine with a note to be delivered to our table on the first formal night. This bottle didn’t turn up till the last night of our cruise and was delivered to our cabin at 10pm with no note or explanation.

upon arriving back at Galveston we had to sit in the anchorage as there was bad fog and the boat couldn’t get into port this is just one of those things but then we were asked to leave our cabin hours before the boat got into port and had to sit with all our luggage on the main deck.

The crew were friendly but the boat was grimy and not that well cleaned in common areas.

Very unhappy with the experience.
