Review summary

We have cruised Carnival several times before, but this cruise was different. The hot dishes at the buffet were mediocre and often cold, Same for the entrees in the Washington Dining Room. Many of the dishes seemed strangely prepared.and unappetizing. First time that has ever happened to us on a cruise.

We could skip going to Cozumel and Belize but the port stops in Honduras and Costa Maya were excellent.

The ship left Port Canaveral three hours late. Rather than thinking about passengers and the trip they paid for, Carnival delayed the ship so they could load more supplies for the Valor's up coming dry dock.

Belize is one of our favorite stops. We walk thru the shops, buy the knock-offs, go on bus tours. People are friendly, water is beautiful. (went on an excursion) love going there.

The Valor was our 4th cruise and by far the best. The food and service was great. We would definitely sail on this ship

I hate hearing that you were disappointed. I was on the same cruise but had a wonderful experience. As a first time cruiser I wasn't sure what to expect but really had a great time. I didn't feel as though the departure delay really impacted us as our excursions went off as planned. I agree about Belize; I stayed on the ship during that port visit as I had checked on things there beforehand. Not sure why they keep going there with the feedback and info found online. Otherwise I had an awesome time!
