Review summary

I thought is the crusie expert who knows which rooms to avoid. But CruiseOnly booked us in Room 6475, right about the all the bars on deck 5 on the Valor. Many of them had loud music into the wee hours. We could not get to sleep well until after 3 am!

Valor is right beside the beach in Roatan, Honduras, an easy 6-8 minute stroll.

Maghogany Bay is great - white sands, very shallow, & look, no waves!

I would think so. We just got off the ship 10/17/15, stayed in 7259. the even numbered rooms have better views when in port. being toward the front wasn't bad at all.

I just got off the ship after staying in 6337. Never once heard any music when I left the casino. Only loud children running through the halls.

Going in November and very concerned now from reading all the reviews ...many say the rooms on decks smell if sewage ... 😕

Other than noisy room, I have no complaints. The food was decent. The shows were good.

Yeah, looking at the deck plan now. Basically any cabin aft on the deck 6, may be even deck 7 are bad because the loud music can easily travel 1 or 2 decks up. Now I am wiser! Thanks JusMe!

Carnival has no control of what is charged for parking at the pier. Those prices are set by the port operator. In the future, consider parking outside of the pier area. You can save big bucks and most have free shuttles to and from the pier.

In the future, check your room location on a deck plan of the ship before you agree to that room. I always have a deck plan open on one page as I book my cabin.

If you booked "Guarantee" or run of the ship you get the cabins that nobody wants and are left to the end to be filled.

A ship cabin in like real estate at home, Location, Location, Location.
