Review summary

I am an experienced cruiser and this cruise was far below par. I paid more for this cruise than others in the past as well. The boat rocked the entire time. It made constant creaking noises. At breakfast there were other couples who made the same comments about the boat. It was constantly hot on every floor. The people working on the boat were overworked. It seemed as though they have cut back on the amount of workers. There were nights that it would take us 30 minutes to get our appetizer. It caused us to miss the show every night. It should not take more than an hour and half to get prepared food. Ir was cold most of the time as well. I never had a piping hot meal from the dinning room. I am very disappointed with Carnival. I will not ever cruise with them again.

The customer service was terrible. I could never get anyone on the phone and the lines at the guest services were always packed.

The food was terrible. The only good thing we had was the chocolate melting cake.

I did not even meet the person who cleaned our room until 3 days after we were on the cruise.

The prices for drinks are outrageous.

The room was always hot. I called they said they would fix it but never did

Outside the room smelled like mildew. I was in stateroom 8219

The boat needs to be redone.

not much to do here except go to Margaritaville and that cost you $50 per person. There is nothing else on the island. It is the second smallest island of the Turks and Caicos.

I can't wait to go in 81 days. it will be fun no matter what. I'm not a big drinker so my bar bill is never very high. this will be my first time on the Valor. I enjoy meeting new people. happy new people not complainers.

Going on valor again in oct. was on her in 2013. I also had some of the issues. Mostly food was slow coming out and cold. However my cabin was always nice & cold and no mildew smell. I have been on 21 cruises and this one in 2013 was my only bad experience.

Greene, you will have fun. Been on 5 ships including Breeze and loved Valor. If you want to find fault with anything you will. Enjoy!

I dropped my iTouch in the theater, noticed it with missing within 5 minutes. Went back, was told by entrainment staff that iTouch was turned into guess services. Went to guess services, no iTouch. Went the next day, still nothing. Went 2 days later, nothing. Guess services sent an email (at our request) to entertainment staff....and magically iTouch appeared.

We had a very similar experience. This was our 7th cruise on Carnival and it was by far the worst. Our room was always hot, called multiple times but never improved. Food was always slow to be served and often cold. We did not even see our room steward until the morning of departure, despite calling for ice more than once, with no luck. Just an overall terrible experience.

My family had the same experience with the hot room I wasn't even able to get ready for the special dress up night my room was so hot! We had a good time but I'm glad to be home where I have air condition. I hate to complain if it were free I wouldn't have said a thing. But it was expensive we should have had cool air!
