Review summary

This was our second time going on this cruise. It was flawless just as it was the first time we went on this cruise. The wait staff was great. The ports were great. Great value with only one day at sea. First time going to the steakhouse on board and it was amazing. Casino staff remembered me from last time and they were good. The Carnival shows are very dated and need to be given a face-lift

No issues so that's always a great cruise

If your are not going to spend a lot of time in the room, get an inside cabin. The money save on the room use it for something else

Ship tip

If you are into soft drinks get the unlimited soft drink card. Do the steakhouse, allow it cost extra $35/person its worth every penny.

Skip the shopping in San Juan. Fly into San Juan the morning of departure. Get a cab from the airport to the ship. Don't the baggage handlers at the port, just take your bags right to a Carnival agent

Little Switzerland if you need a watch and are on a budget. Take the ferry to St. Johns and snorkel. St. john's has great beaches

Skip the cruise line excursions, because the beach is great right at the port. If you missed shopping in St. Thomas, St. Maarten is a great plan "B". The Rhino runner speed boats is a great excursion and cheaper online then through Carnival.
