Review summary

From the checkin to the checkout, we had a wonderful experience on the Carnival Valor!  We relaxed at our San Juan hotel and checked in about 4:30 which was after the rush...no lines at all!  The maitre'd gladly granted our request for a table change for dinner.  We enjoyed our breakfasts in the dining room with open seating and getting to meet new people every day.  Our room steward kept our wine on ice in our room until it was gone.  Clean towels were readily available at the pool and at Serenity.  The day at sea we spent some quiet time there and then fun time on the lido.  We had enough time in port to enable us to eat breakfast leisurely, go to the beaches and even some time to shop, with time to clean up and make it to early dinner.  The shows that we went to were very good.  The photo we took on a formal night came out very well.  We enjoyed every port!  We had been to St. Thomas and Barbados before, but this was our first time in St. Lucia, St. Kitts and St. Maarten.  They were all absolutely beautiful!  We can't wait to cruise again!

went to Little Bay Beach. Took taxi to Pinel Island ferry only to learn that ferry was closed that day due to the next day's fish festival. It's hard to believe that the information desk and the taxi drivers did not have knowledge of this. It cost us an extra $45 in taxi fees.
