We will cruise again ! The cruise director Adam was awesome.

We really enjoyed the Sunshine and learned a new ship that carried 1000 more passengers than we were not used too.

Overall we will not be taking another cruise. There wasn’t enough to do other than lay in the sun on the “at sea” days. But, if you love laying in the hot sun, then you may love it. We did not.

Only complaint was the excursion we choose was a little disappointing. It was a bus tour of the town and then over to Paradise Island where we were suppose to have 30 minutes at Atlantis. It ended up that the bus only spend 10 minutes there and two couples were left to fin for themselves. Not cool.

The worst cruise I have been on, not Carnivals fault, due to dad and daughter being sick. Spent everyday in infirmary and Helping mom take food to their room, I didn’t want to leave them alone. I was very worried about my dad during the entire cruise. My Daughter got sick after wedding and missed Nassau and Half Moon. It was a very unusual cruise but I will be back on Sunshine July 22 with my best friend for some much needed relaxation.

It was Great family funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!

The beaches were awesome. The Dinningroom crew was great to us. All other Cruise members were unfriendly to everyone on this ship and on excursions. Our room was so hot and no one fixed it or even cared. I don't feel like that was too much to ask for. The rude unfriendiness is unacceptable. I will be rethinking my next cruise.

First time on Sunshine and really enjoyed it. Everything was nice but there was a slight sewage smell throughout the ship. It was nothing to ruin my trip but it was noticeable. I will definitely sail her again.

The cruise is what you make of it. Make eye contact and say hello to the staff. They work very hard and it is just nice to be recognized by looking at people. They have families and long working hours, ask them questions. It is validation that you know they are there and working to make your vacation enjoyable.

My husband and I have been on this ship twice and this was my children's first time. Their first cruise was awesome. They had the best time as did us grown ups. I love this ship.

We had a great time and everything on the ship was well prepared, clean, and organized. Carnival staff was very energetic too. A 5-night cruise felt a little too short for out taste but that is no one's fault but our. Keep up the good wotk Carnival. The ship in general did not feel crowded. Confortable seating areas available where you could enjoy the occasional bands and duos play American classics and enjoy a drink, coffe, and delicious pastries with you loved ones.

It was my 2 teenagers first time cruising and they enjoyed themselves at the private beach. The onboard entertainment was okay. The private beaxh, room steward, dinning room staff save the cruising experience.

Second cruise on the Sunshine. Really enjoyed both cruises. Roberto and his team in the dining room were awesome. Our room steward Victor was absolutely amazing,anything we needed we got. The ladies at Redfrog Pub and they guy at the Atrium bar kept the drinks strong. My only complaints about the cruise where the room temperature and the number of bar tenders at the Atrium bar. Idochim was the only one there most of the time.

So I had an ok time, i doubt I'll go with carnival ever again because of their very rude customer service on the ship. I got quarantined for a hangover ... that was a blast. The customer service people at the front desk were far from helpful. They were rude and didnt care about anything you had to say. Room stewards were nice but they are over worked and understaffed I believe, our room was never cleaned unless we called and asked for it ( we even filled out the paper request first day). Only food on the ship that was good was the sushi bar and the steak house or Gigi's lunch and gigi's omelet station in the morning. The rest of the food including guys was eh I was pretty upset that I only found a salad bar once. The food on the ship is not centered around people who like fresh food , even the dining room food, everything is cooked in bulk of course and then kept warm some how. THE DRINKS.... Drinks were great make sure you get the drink package , definitely recommend the cruiser or the blue long island . Casino bar is the best and they have the best bartenders. Some have reported the smell of sewage and I could only smell it in the atrium. Nassau was less than pleasing a few people got sick from eating on the island I think they said senior frogs but half moon was amazing!!! If you want to see a comedy show. Be prepared to show up about 45 mins early or you wont get a seat. Epic rock was good , try and get a seat facing the stage head on to get the full effect. But like I said I had a good time but it was not because of carnival but because of the amazing people we got to meet. Make sure you strike up conversations with random people. I think it's the only place where people wont think you're crazy.

The ship was just okay, and that’s being nice. We had room 2333, and it rotated between sewage/ exhaust. The bathroom smelled of urine even after they cleaned it, and the bathroom showed signs of distress. The food on Lido deck was horrible, and I basically lived of chicken nuggets. The Dining room was just as bad as the Lido deck, and there was nothing new on the menu same stuff as last year. The Lido deck was always so crowded even at varying times, because they only had one main station going at a time as opposed to having both going at the same time. We ate at all of the restaurants except Bonsai due to lack of good food, and if you are traveling on this ship plan on that. We saw Adam the cruise director a handful of times as opposed to other cruise directors he just didn’t seem involved in anything.

2nd time sailing in the Sunshine. Overall was a great cruise! Captain kept us In Excellent weather. I found a my new favorite Alchemy drink and Cucina del Capitano was delicious! Havana bar snacks were as good as I remembered. Cruise director Adam was OK. Didn’t have the larger than life personality that I’m used to with Dr. E and Donkey but he did a good job. We did the Behind the Fun tour. Really enjoyed it! Very informative for people who want to know how things work. We stayed in a suite so priority boarding and disembark was included. Our cabin was cleaned every evening, but we only saw our steward once, when he introduced himself. Lowsides—the buffet has really gone downhill. Breakfast was not good. Lunch and dinners not much better. JiJi’s and Cucina saved lunch for us. The pizza also was lacking taste. Deck 4 port side had a really bad sewage smell in the hallway to the door to the Limelight lounge, but it was the only place I smelled anything bad. Would book her again!

This was our first cruise as a couple. We had an awesome time. There is so much to do on the ship. Great shows, music and entertainment. The food was good and everything was clean. Guys burger’s was my favorite. We didn’t do any excursions this time and they aren’t necessary to have a great time. The beaches are beautiful. The pirate museum in Nassau was fun.

Loved our time on the Sunshine and was sad to leave this morning. Got FTTF from Charleston and getting on was a breeze. We were on the boat and in our staterooms before noon. Only hiccup was that our Lyft driver got conflicting instructions on where to drop passengers off due to the new terminal setup but it worked out. Saw a couple shows that we really enjoyed (Studio VIP was my favorite) and all the staff we encountered were kind, hardworking and knowledgeable. Cruise Director Adam is my favorite Cruise Director so far. My kid loved the water slides and we were able to get in the pool every day - early morning is best. The staterooms were comfortable and spotless. Pong Pong our steward was amazing. Ate in the MDR most nights and always found something I enjoyed. JI JI’s was wonderful! Don’t miss the opportunity to eat there. We loved eating lunch in Havana Bar because we could choose from Cuban Bites, Cocina del Capitano pasta bar or Ji JI’s Mongolian wok. Husband fell in love with a drink from Alchemy Bar and made friends watching the NBA finals in the sports bar. The layout does take getting used to because the mid-3rd floor is blocked off for the galley but I could find my way around by the end of the first sea day. I did not like having to walk through the smoky casino because it was the easiest shortcut on the 5th floor and I think smoking inside is gross. Despite that one minor detail, I would get back on the Sunshine again anytime.

Everything was perfect on our 1st cruise and we can’t wait to go again! Literally everything was just perfect. We went with an open mind ready to have a good time and loved it!
