Overall we will not be taking another cruise. There wasn’t enough to do other than lay in the sun on the “at sea” days. But, if you love laying in the hot sun, then you may love it. We did not.
Embarkation

There was a lot of confusion when getting to the pier. They had us walking all over the place, no one knew what the other was doing.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

The steakhouse food was excellent. The main dining room tasted just like a buffet.
Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse

The food was amazing, and great staff.
Onboard Activities

Pool was too small and overly crowded. The sky course was fun, however, was closed most of the time because of winds. Water slides were the highlight for my grandchildren.
Pixels Gallery

Beautiful photos, but very pricey.
Entertainment

The comedians were funny. But venue for them was too small. Hard to enjoy it, when it’s standing room only.
Children's Programs

Granddaughter went one time and did not want to go back. Both grandchildren enjoyed the Build A Bear.
Service and Staff

Our main waiter was not friendly. We could not engage him. He must really not like his job.
Ship Quality

Everything seemed clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

The room itself was clean. The size was good. The layout in the bathroom was very awkward. Several in our family had suites, and the bathroom was the same in all of them. There is a very large jacuzzi tub in them, which would normally be nice. But, the toilet is at an angle towards the tub, and because of the size of the tub, there is not enough room to sit straight on the toilet. You had to sit at an angle with your tush hanging off. The only people that could fit straight on was the 5 and 7 year olds.
Ship tip
Don’t get a ocean suite. Get the next one up, or don’t get a suite at all.
My other half can’t lay around on loungers all day either. He has to be doing something so we bring small board games and cards. There is always something going on though.
You need to try another cruise. We have been on 15 and love them. There is always a variety of activities around the ship to enjoy. You can be as activity as you want or just relax. We usually enjoy playing cards in down time and usually make new friends who join us. Explore the ships as they have alot to offer. Sea days are my favorite but the ships cruise director does make a difference. Make suggestions of what you would like to see for activities onboard.
I enjoy laying in the sun! And playing on the slides! And trivia! And the spa! And having cocktails (while laying in the sun of course) and sea day brunch, and sea day tea! And looking thru the shops for sales, and by then it’s time to get cleaned up for dinner! Sea days are the best!
And my husband, myself, and my 12 yr old fit on the toilets fine, not sure what that’s about.
Maybe cruising isn’t ur type of vacation. Thanks for ur review though.
Sorry you didn’t enjoy it. Most people love cruising, but it’s not for everyone. I do find it interesting that you said there was nothing much to do on sea days. Laying on a lounger on deck on sea days is heaven to us. Also, most of the cruises we have been on have more things to do on sea days than you can fit into your schedule. Maybe you meant nothing to do that was of interest to you?
