It was pretty disappointing for the amount you spend. Lines were always long. Food was not good at all. That was a common conversation onboard. Never cruised and had to pay extra for food in the dining room. Areas not accommodating for those needing accessible consideration.
Embarkation

Not friendly for those needing accessibility. You have to go inside and outside and back in to then go up a ramp that’s not accessibility friendly. Did all the paperwork and still didn’t have accommodations.

Food and Dining

Food was awful. Not the usual cruise ship experience.
Onboard Activities

Pool too small for guests. You just stand in one spot.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
DJs were great. Comedy was offensive. Not for a diverse audience.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Service was the best part. Lamphong, Stateroom Steward, anticipated my needs before asking. Couldn’t have asked for better. Servers were not as attentive but wanted to make sure Lamphong got his credit for greatness.

A design that takes you through the casino to get to dining is a health hazard for those with lung issues, as well as kids. Getting to water park took you by the outside smoking section. Cabin entry was claustrophobic because of being so narrow. Balcony had visible rust and the depth accommodated the chair. If you had 2 people, one had to stand to let the other pass.

Mydogluke.. your repeated “copy and paste” of A Cruise is what you make of it, is ludicrous. You can’t make the food good when it isn’t, you can’t make room in a pool when it’s so full that your touching elbows, you can’t make a dirty boat clean, etc.
You complain that the food wad terrible and "not the USUAL cruise ship experience" but earlier in your review, you started you never cruised before??? And yes, you have to pay extra for a couple select items in the MDR, but the overwhelming majority of the menu is included in your standard cruise fare.
The sunshine actually had the best food out of 5 ships ive been on. There is an earlier comedy show that is more family friendly the later one has warnings 18 and over and not for the easily offended.
You did not have to go through the casino to get to dining. That was your choice. Go up one deck or down two and miss the casino. Remember the ship sails full or almost full each week. Must be doing something right.
Sorry this wasn't the best experience for you, but I have a suggestion so that you don't waste money. Before deciding on another cruise, do PLENTY of research on the ship you have in mind. YouTube is your friend. There a sooo many videos of ship tours, room tours, and ship reviews. There are also PLENTY of reviews on Cruiseline.com. Based on the information you find, decide whether or not the issues are deal breakers for you picking that ship. I have seen other people say ALL of the things you stated about this ship. None of them are deal breakers for me. Hope you find another ship that makes you happy. Happy cruising to ya!!

Sounds like you found one thing you didnt like and started looking for more. Just go with an open mind and have fun. By the way I meant nothing mean by that first sentence and I apologize if it sounded mean. Dont give up. I love cruising
