I just got off of this ship after a week long Mexican riviera cruise. I have been on many cruise ships on many different lines and I realize that your personality helps you decide on what line to go on. For me and my family carnival is by far the best. The activities are great and plentiful this ship had a great crew and if you were not having fun that was your fault. The cruise director did an amazing job at making every night full of fun. We had a strange 4am wake up when a fire started in the boiler room but I feel like it was taken care of well and quickly. If you want a great ship for parties without everybody being drunk out of their minds go on a carnival cruise.

My husband & i we loved the Gold Pearl Dinning service we would go every evening & when they had brunch as well. Our waitress were Jesstoni & Zyra these two they always went above & beyond. They were soo great we really enjoy seeing them at dinner time and brunch.

Nice cruise, but I have honestly been on much nicer ships with better, more accessible food. Not sure I would use Carnival again now that I have sailed with a number of cruise lines.

Overall the whole experience was amazing! Wouldn't have wanted to spend our 10 year wedding anniversary any other way. Can't wait to plan our next cruise!

Just came back home yesterday from our Splendor cruise and we had an amazing time. I enjoyed very minute of this cruise! I loved the ship, the crew was great, and I loved having a ship this size here on the west coast. I did the Miracle last year from Long Beach and I liked the Splendor a lot more! This was my 6th cruise, and we celebrated my grandma’s birthday on this cruise. The food was great, read a lot of complaints on here but honestly it wasn’t bad at all, not sure why people are complaining? I’m a very picky eater, and I didn’t go hungry on this cruise! With that said, I definitely recommend trying the old fashioned BBQ located on deck 10 above the buffet, it was SOOO yummy! The crew was great, I loved our stateroom steward, Richard- he was fantastic, super friendly, hard working, attentive and always greeted us by name which was very nice. Embarkation was super easy, took about 10-15 minutes from getting dropped off to getting onboard! Long Beach is always an easy embarkation, I love it! This was my third time doing a Mexican riviera cruise, and each time I do it, I fall more in love with these ports, we had a great time and each port was beautiful, very hot and humid though this time of year (we usually cruise in March). I LOVED the Splendor and will definitely sail on her again before she leaves to Australia, what a great ship, one of my favorite cruises that I’ve done! I would do it all over again, I’m having post cruise depression already, I miss you Splendor! 😭

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and Homer our waiter surprised us with celebration and a heart shaped cake. It made us feel special!

This is best cruise I have taken, from food, staff, entertainment. It was first cruise for my grandkids and they had so much that they want to go back.

Had a great time. Stephan ,our steward, was exemplary and really took care of our entire group. 6 couples.

WE HAD A GREAT TIME. WE HAD A 12-PERSON FAMILY GROUP AND THE SHIP AND CREW MADE IT EASY TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME TOGETHER, AND MADE US HAPPY AND COMFORTABLE. TRIP OF A LIFETIME.

Excursions, food , entertainment and room cleanliness was what we expected but most of all awesome friendly servers “job well done”

Food inconsistent & mediocre @ best Internet intermittent and slower than dialup if it does work- even w premium plan. Ship in dire need of updating

The Staff was amazing surprise birthday wishes were great the overall staff treated us Great The Boat is pretty dated needs to be refurbished Food in the buffet could have been better pretty blah and the main dining room was ok wish there more selections

This was my 1st cruise and I had do much fun. Definately will be doing many more.

We had a terrific time celebrating our 40th anniversary, and thanks to all who shared it with us! Was truly amazing how hard your employees worked, and I’ve got to say, how little time they have off. How about a 1/2 an hour break for your wait staff between meals? They deserve it!!!

Our dinner staff was the best I’ve ever experienced anywhere. And Gary in the piano bar was awesome!!!’

This was our first cruise, so we didn't know what to expect, but it was so much fun! Excellent food and entertainment and the staff went out of their way to make our trip great!

Getting on the ship is so much faster now. They have steam lined everything to get on the ship . It took about 5 minutes to get on the ship. And everyone was very nice.

The Carnival Splendor was awesome! The whole Family had a Great time! The 7 Day Mexican Riviera is one you can’t ever get tired of doing. Can’t wait to be on board her again ...... 123 Days😊

Just off this ship Saturday. Not like you’re average Carnival ship. Great staff minus some sloooow bartender s typical carnival problem. Great your time dining you must request EDSEL. Tell him Brad sent you best service there after 8 carnival cruises. Perfect room steward. Unfortunately missing 2.0 updates however still great. Embarkation walked right on and walked right off
