Review summary
Nice cruise, but I have honestly been on much nicer ships with better, more accessible food. Not sure I would use Carnival again now that I have sailed with a number of cruise lines.Embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
The Gold Pearl Restaurant
Staff here were all mice, but exceedingly slow!!
Grand Piano Bar
We really enjoyed Gary and the fun in this bar a number of nights.
Mongolian Wok
Hours were limited, selection was minimal....though it was a nice change of pace.
The Coffee Shop
Yummy options here.
The Black Pearl Restaurant
Food was good. Staff was very attentive.
Pizzeria
Appreciates this a an option for meals. Hours were great....24/7 and they had gluten free pizza!
Onboard Activities
Thalassotherapy Pool
It was broken down a lot and the seating in it is so strange. It made it hard for a number of people to be in it at once.
Hot Tubs
They were not very hot!
Photo Gallery
Previous ships have had photo recognition software to help you find your pics. This was hard to navigate. I did not buy as much.
Cloud 9 Spa
Spa services and staff were great.
Entertainment
The Alexandria Library
Great board games there!
