Carnival has really stepped up their game. From the rapid embarkation, fantastic quality of food at the main dining room, much improved debarkation and technology improvements (Sail and sign Card) this was our favorite cruise ever.

The ship is a bit outdated, but it was spotless! The crew on board was fabulous, very courteous and helpful. We had a balcony room, and loved it. Every morning we had our coffee and fresh fruit out there. The food was top notch, we enjoyed ordering room service for breakfast every day.

I would still recommend this cruise to our friends because overall, we had fun being there.

It was our first cruise and it was wonderful. We had a marvelous time. Everything was great. The room was spacious and well appointed; the ship was clean and the staff were fabulous! We are already planning our next adventure!

We have cruised several times before and upon boarding the Splendor we realized we needed to lower our expectations if we were going to have a good week. The maintenance of the ship is very poor, rust is everywhere. The decor is worn out pink and black. The entertainment was poor (talented performers) but our first night of entertainment so many of the passengers actually got up a left before it was over. Very few on board activities, especially if you don't drink alcohol or want to gamble. Guest Services was excellent and very helpful. Rooms were cleaned well and regularly.

Used ShipMate.com which was a wonderful app. to find out more about local beaches and things to do. Did love the Land and Sea excursion for Cabo. The food was good, staff was excellent, room was comfortable and seas were calm. Was happy that this cruise turned out much better than anticipated.

We have been cruising this particular cruise 7 times, and enjoy it so much. The service throughout the ship is outstanding, with so many things to do. We seem to be always busy throughout the ship, but enjoy our balcony very much, too. We plan to go on the same cruise again next year.

This was our first Halloween cruise, so we all dressed like super heroes it was sooo much fun.

The ocean was surprisingly smooth as compared to sometimes in the Caribbean except for Kona which was a tender port. The seas were too rough to go ashore so we had to skip that port. This was the friendliest staff we have ever had. Lee Mason, the cruise director was great! Even the captain made appearances around the ship quite often. It was great to be a part of the record breaking donation that was raised for St. Jude's Children's hospital. $40,000 will be hard to beat.

First Carnival cruise and i was surprisingly impressed

The biggest disappointment was the internet or should I say the lack there of. I do understand that it is something completely of out of Carnival's control and we were given a refund.

Carnival is going downhill fast. this was my 7th cruise and I was quite disappointed.

When we started getting hurricane Sergio updates I was concerned about rough waters. It ended up being very smooth. The food was great. Comedy shows were great.

Cruise was good. Some of the cruise staff were very good at there jobs.

Boarding was easy. The swimming pools were crowded. The food was excellent. The engine was noisy at night. The entertainment was good, except for the final comedy show. (The language was horrible and it was not funny). The band that performed every night on the 3rd floor stage was excellent. Getting off the ship was very easy. My wife and I were told that we would each get a $50 credit on our bill and this didn't happen. It was a nice cruise overall.

First cruise and had the best experience ever. Definitely would recommend this to anyone wanting to have a good time.

Spent several hours getting off the ship to enjoy both Cabo and Puerto.

Overall the cruise was great! My cheap cruises representative Genny, in addition to every rep I spoke with were nothing short of amazing!! We enjoyed several on shore excursions which made our trip extra special!

I have nothing negative to say about our cruise. I loved everything...the food, our room, the staff and crew, the food, the shows and entertainment, the food, bingo, excursions, the ports of call, oh and did I mention the food? Seriously, all and everything you could possibly want to eat all day everyday and the nightly diners were amazing and wonderful wait staff. Very pleased with our first cruise experience and can't wait to go again!
