Review summary

I already explained what I felt best served other cruisers. I am only writing this so the 50 character minimum is completed.;)

Embarkation

Smooth and incredibly QUICK

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Food never fails. If you’ve cruised with this ship consistently you realize the foods offered are usually the same menu per cruise but the food and SERVICE are always above par.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Many activities were offered but we ( wife and I) were there to only relax. We read comfortably, there was always places available to read outside without being bothered by outside forces. Weather great and when it started to get a little windy you can find somewhere to read in the ship. Excellent cruise director and entertainment activities. Overall a dream vacation for New Years.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Stage presentations were good. Didn’t go to any “sales presentations” and the comedy shows were presented well. Funny comedians. Musicians throughout the ship were good. They were better than expected; good music.

Children's Programs

We did not kids take on cruise. For the most part a high percentage of the youth (1-18) were having fun and not out of control.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
As always the staff are what makes a cruise more special. Every service member we dealt with was an example of who a cruiser would want a cruise ship to have. Excellent.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship looking good. Pink everywhere. Layout fine once you acquainted yourself with it.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Inside cabin. TV fine. Bathroom well cared for. Back hurt from bed support-too soft for my type of sleeping. Bring your own pillow-ship pillows are small.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California Did not visit port

Just arrived and went to ship.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico Did not visit port

Stayed in. Enjoyed reading and eating....lol

Mazatlan, Mexico

5 out of 5
On and off ship quick and easy. Little shops at port were nice and not expensive. Took a guided taxi through the port area. Ok, but not necessary, we live near Juarez Mexico and if not for the beach areas it feels the same. Younger travelers can be adventurous and just wander a little off the ship landing. We were too lazy for the energy it would take to get to the beaches and shops there. Being honest.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
Decided to be adventurous and asked a taxi to take us to buy sandals, candy and just sightsee. Our taxi driver quickly took us around to where he knew there were the purchases and activities we wanted. We paid $40 for the taxi service.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
The waiting to be called to get off the ship at Long Beach did not take too long. Passengers are asked to leave their room before noon.
