The main dining room was our only positive experience on the ship. Because our waiters were awesome.

Second the service was soooo terrible. We had been on the ship for a week and actually we're waited on 5 times the whole week. If we wanted drinks we had to go get them (maybe this is because we bought the drink package over $800) The staff is very rude and all acted mad or uninterested. I am allergic to Rum and asked for a mixed drink that had vodka and rum in it. Asked to leave the rum out. The bartender told me NO he wouldn't do that. Gave me something else to drink. To begin with I don't want to have to fight with a bartender after I pay $800 for drinks. This is the same bartender that got all bent out of shape when we asked for a rag to clean our table off. He said no, someone will come around and clean the table off. NOT. Then when we finally got served we asked the girl to wipe the table off. And she rolled her eyes at us.. And we were in the club for and hour and half and she never did come back to serve us. I could go on about the service. Terrible terrible terrible. Just a bunch of unhappy people wondering around doing nothing.

Tried to relax. But there were kids running up and down our hauls day and night. The deck where there were no children permitted had children on them. Even during the adult activities there were children

Comedians were great. But we had NO service while in the shows. NONE!!!!!!!! Kind of ruins any of the fun.

We were on the ship for a week and were asked a total of 5 time if we needed service. Sitting in a bar, or by the pool, in the buffet dining area, on the deck, in any of the lounges... We were offered a drink by the pool 2 times, once during comedy night, 2 time in the casino. I think it is really bad service when you are sitting in a bar and don't receive service.

NOT clean. finger prints and smudges all over the glass and chrome. AND I do not blame the staff. I think they are understaffed. Maybe this is why they all seem so unhappy.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was okay. Our steward Franie was very nice and was always working very hard. I think they herd all the people off the ship and in five hours or less these people have to have the rooms ready to leave again. NOT POSSIBLE.

Plus we paid extra for faster to fun. Don't waste your money. We never did get any advantage from this program. The debarking day I thought wow we might actually get use out of this service. Nope. When debarking we were getting luggage and going to customs. And they stopped the Faster to fun and priority cruisers, and let others who didn't pay for faster to fun go ahead of us.

This is what this website is all about good bad or indifferent its there experience how come when it’s something that someone does not like they get nasty ... let people review regardless ...not everyones cruise experience is the same ... And keep your sarcasm to yourself!!!!!!!

Davefair is entitled to his opinion. His cruise and his reviews. Not everyone is going to have the same reviews so give him a break. Not everybody is going to have the exact experience.

If you book another cruise you might want to do it while kids are in school and not in the summer

We were on the same cruise and we had great service. Always had staff asking if we wanted drinks in the casino, pretty much everywhere we went. Didn't see many kids. We had a Great time.

I have to believe you were NOT pleased with the cruise. It will happen sometimes. Terrible when it does.

We were on the Splendor a yr ago. That ship was down to the bare wood on the railings on our balcony. Definitely needs some TLC. I think the quality of the food is just mediocre at best. Carnival needs to step up their game for sure!

Attitude goes a long ways to have a positive experience and good service. Maybe you weren't very positive and friendly to them?
